What is the power source that plugs into a digital antenna called.
I have a inline booster, but keep loosing channels, especially on nice days, not all channels are effected, most channels come from 40 miles away and some from 70 miles, still I get loss for about 6 or 7, what do you recommend I do, thaere is no name on the inline booster, it has a dial and shutoff switch, if I turn these off for 30 seconds, the channels seems to get better for awhile. Any recommendations. I cant get on a ladder or on roof, visually challenged, so I need an inside in line, send me some suggestions
Hi guys, can anyone help me choose a booster please.
It is an installation on a ship where we have 8 * DSTV Satellite decoders linked together by RF out on the 1st to RF in on the second, RF out on the 2nd to RF in on the 3rd etc until the 8th where the RF out on Number 8 goes around the ship to roughly 20 TV’s. The picture quality is poor as you can imagine with all these TV’s connected.
As I have no details then of how it goes around the ship to each cabin I was hoping there may be one Booster with enough power to go between the output of Decoder to the rest of the ship. Biggest decoders I see online seem to be 36dB.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I don’t have much knowledge in this area.
