- Select Reset.
- Select Yes on the popup to delete the data.
- The TV will display Deleting individual info. After Installing. Restart Automatically. Please Wait.

- Unplug the TV.
- Hold both the Volume Down and Input Button at the same time and plug the TV back in.
- The TV should turn on and display a blue box at the top left corner.
- At the same time, press the Volume Down and Channel Down Button, and a menu will come up.
- Use the TV remote control press the down arrow to Industry INT.
- Press the right arrow button to turn on Industry INT.
- Press the Enter Button to activate Industry INT.
- A screen will display saying Industry INIT Success.
- Unplug the power to the TV again.
- Wait 30 seconds and plug the TV back in.
- Power the TV on, and everything should have been factory reset.

Will never buy another Sharp TV. They are just useless. I’ve had two now and both have had failed backlight issues after a few months of light use. DO NOT BUY SHARP! They have poor manufacturing standards and shoddy products.

auf der rückseite vom tv steht:lc-60le580x.
wenn das gerät gestartet ist und ich irgendeine funktionstaste drücke bekomme ich am tv die meldung:
the operation with remote control button is prohibited.
Wie kann ich das problem behepen.

I’m having the same issue. TV was on and suddenly went off and the power and OPC lights are flashing. Tried to reset and I got nothing. When I push the power button it clicks like it’s turning on but I’ve got nothing.

Hi I am seeking advise how to resolve this tv issue – Sharp LC-40LE380X. The screen froze suddenly last night. I tried the soft reset but it started again with the red SHARP logo on the screen. Even the remote control cannot operate the TV, the screen remain with the red SHARP logo after the power is on. Appreciate if someone can help to resolve this. Thank you in advance.
